September 20, 2011 by HyundaiDifference, under Hyundai Sonata, Hyundai Technology, Hyundai Veloster.
Hyundai’s Blue Link technology will change the way you think about what your vehicle can do for you. A Blue Link-enabled vehicle not only knows exactly where you are and where you’re going, but also knows every shortcut and point of interest in the area.
On the way, Blue Link identifies gas stations and what they’re charging; it locates restaurants and what people think of the food. Should any mechanical issue arise, Blue Link not only self-diagnoses the problem, but can even make the appointment to correct it. And in the unfortunate event of an accident, Blue Link instantly knows who to call for help.
Coupled with the Hyundai Assurance program, Blue Link keeps drivers better protected than any program in automotive history. See how all the benefits of Blue Link can work for you by visiting HyundaiBlueLink.com.
Blue Link technology is currently available on Hyundai’s 2012 Sonata and 2012 Veloster models, which will go on sale at Hyundai of Tempe soon. Check out Hyundai’s amazing Blue Link technology when these new 2012 Hyundai models go on sale at our Tempe Hyundai dealership.

Hyundai Motor America has finally announced pricing on the all-new 2012 Hyundai Veloster, the long-anticipated new coupe model set to go on sale at Hyundai of Tempe in September.
The 2012 Hyundai Veloster will go on sale in the U.S. with a starting price tag of $17,300 – a great price for the ultra-cool-looking new hatchback. Those that want a little more oomph can add another $1,250 for Hyundai’s all-new EcoShift dual-clutch transmission. A $2,000 style package adds 18-inch allow wheels, front fog lights, panoramic sunroof, premium audio system with eight speakers, and more. An additional $2,000 technology package adds unique painted wheel inserts, a navigation system, and proximity key and push button start.
All Veloster models will feature Hyundai’s Blue Link telematics system, Pandora Internet radio, a multi-function seven-inch touchscreen display and Bluetooth with voice recognition technology.
The base Veloster is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission that delivers 28 mpg city/40 mpg highway/32 mpg combined. It also has a best-in-class power rating of 138-horsepower. 2012 Veloster Goes On Sale at Hyundai of Tempe in September
August 29, 2011 by HyundaiDifference, under Dealership News, Hyundai Veloster.
Hyundai of Tempe is excited to announce that the 2012 Veloster – Hyundai’s brand-new three-door coupe – will go on sale at our Tempe Hyundai dealership in September.
What is the Hyundai Veloster?
The 2012 Veloster is a playful, front-wheel drive coupe targeting the likes of Mini Cooper, Volkswagen Beetle and Scion tC while delivering an impressive 40 mpg highway with the six-speed manual. To assist in fuel savings, the Veloster manual transmission weighs 2,584 lbs, which is lighter than the Mini Copper S, and over 400 pounds lighter than Scion tC. In addition to advancements in fuel economy, the advanced 1.6L GDI engine produces 138 horsepower, which gives it the best specific output in its class.
2012 Veloster Features
The Hyundai Veloster delivers innovation to the compact coupe segment with standard features such as a unique third door for easy rear-seat access, Hyundai’s Blue Link telematics system, Pandora internet radio, seven-inch touch-screen display, and a new 1.6-liter Gasoline-Direct-Injected (GDI) four-cylinder engine and six-speed transmission.
The Hyundai Veloster combines design elements of a coupe and the functionality of a hatchback, while incorporating an additional passenger-side rear door for uncompromised rear-seat access. In the past, some coupes have used limited access rear-hinged access doors. These coupes have required opening the front door before the rear door could be opened, an inconvenience for drivers and passengers, and difficult to use in tight parking lot situations. Hyundai’s new thinking implements a conventionally-hinged door on the passenger side, providing safe and easy access to the rear seats and a hidden door handle to maintain its coupe design.
